Kshitij: New Perspectives Cinema of Prayoga. The Indian Cutting Edge: From Phalke to Now Saat Sarjak. Saat Samvaad Conceived and presented by Amrit Gangar Sarjak 6. Samvaad 6: Amit Dutta

This event has been rescheduled as it was cancelled on November 27, 2008.

The Prayoga series, begun in June 2008, has been put together by film theorist and curator Amrit Gangar to alert viewers to India`s capacity for cutting-edge work in experimental cinema. The programme now enters its penultimate module with the works of Amit Dutta. Earlier sessions discussed the work of Kabir Mohanty, Shaina Anand, Ashok Sukumaran, Kumar Shahani and Vipin Vijay.

The programme, spread over seven months (June to December 2008), offers ample scope for discussion and debate and is covering a gamut of films and video works by innovative filmmakers and new media artists.
