The Turtle Festival is back!! Organised by Sahyadri Nisarga Mitra and the villagers of Velas, this hugely popular event is back in its second year.

This year you can participate in the FESTIVAL only by booking as there is very limited accommodation available at Velas.

Please DO NOT visit without booking!

Booking opened on 20th February 2008 and is on first come first serve basis.

Deposit appropriate amount in our account at Bank of India, Chiplun branch, District Ratnagiri.

Note: Emergence of hatchling is a natural phenomenon and hence there is no guarantee of observation of hatchlings. We have calculated the dates as per our experience in the past five years.
